St Cuthbert Gospel Appeal

"The St Cuthbert Gospel is unique, British, and one of the great glories among books."

Melvyn Bragg

The St Cuthbert Gospel is a remarkable survivor from the Anglo-Saxon period. It is the oldest surviving intact Western manuscript, one of the world's most significant books and a rare treasure indeed.
